To receive Report from Cllr T. Randerson – North Yorkshire Council

Cllr Randerson gave an update on all the cases and projects he has dealt with over the last year and was thanked for his hard work.

To receive presentations from the following Community Organisations

Neighbourhood Police

PC Zack Waterman gave an overview of the Eastfield Neighbourhood Team and the work they are involved in.

18% decrease in criminal damage

11% decrease in A.S.B

15% decrease in burglary

23% decrease in auto crimes

All incidents overall down by 40%

Eastfield A.F.C

Stephen Crosby also gave us an exciting insight into the up-and-coming AFC Eastfield and the excellent performances. So popular had to restrict admission

Westway Open Arms

W.O.A are an open and friendly social action centre meeting the needs of, and supporting, our local community in Eastfield and beyond. Bernie, like many others spoke of the struggles of the working poor of Eastfield are having, she also mentioned the Westway Warblers which has become very popular.

Eastfield Bowling Club

Ray told us about the long-standing Eastfield Bowling Club which was established in 1966 and the benefits of bowling for health and well-being, he also highlight the need for more members to keep the club going

Eastfield Residents Association

Support from E.T.C going from strength to strength.

the Clerk will investigate the matter.

Lack of Communication from N.Y.C was highlighted as a problem from most people present at the meeting.

NYC Strategic Plan for Football Pitches was also mentioned, could this include Eastway Sports field.?
